Varina Post 233 is proudly affiliated with local Scout Troops 500G and 501B. Both Scout Troops have been adopted, and we actively support their programs, concepts, and goals.  Scouting initiatives foster leadership skills, encourage community service, teach self-awareness, and assist in building good character. The outdoor adventures expose youth to new and exciting facets of life. Varina Post 233 has made a commitment to collaborate with Committee Chairs and Scoutmasters to sponsor activities that promote individual growth and build sound values. Furthermore, this post recognizes scouting as a conduit for future success. Through the development of teamwork, respect, and perseverance, Scouting gives youth the tools they need to become active, responsible citizens.
